Drydocks World, the leading marine, onshore & offshore service provider to the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors has achieved a five-star grading from a recent Five Star Occupational Health and Safety Audit conducted by the British Safety Council for the year 2017.

The yard underwent a detailed, quantified and objective evaluation of all occupational health and safety management systems. The audit measured performance against a number of key best practice indicators, and achieved the highest available rating. The British Safety Council’s Five Star Occupational Health and Safety Audit provide organizations with a worldwide benchmark of their safety management systems against current best practices to enable continual improvement. The audit specification was revised in 2016 to include five best practice indicators – leadership, stakeholder engagement, risk management, organizational health and safety culture and continual improvement – which are continually assessed throughout the audit process.
