 United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 2nd December 2015: Drydocks World, the international service provider to the shipping, offshore, oil, gas and energy sectors marked the 44th UAE National Day with a ceremony to celebrate the nations heritage, culture and success.
His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Saleh Chairman of Drydocks World, Board Members, senior management and employees gathered together to express their spirit of belonging to this great country. The yard was adorned with the proud colors of the UAE’s flag, featuring activities organized for employees to experience local culture with tents, traditional food pavilion and a themed photo booth.
Drydocks World’s employees have expressed their sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and to the Crown Princes and their Highnesses Members of Supreme Council and rulers of the Emirates.
Conceived as an ambitious project under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum the late Ruler of Dubai, Drydocks World is presently employing 10,000 people and has developed alongside the nation, striving to achieve further success and international recognition for the UAE’s maritime industry. On this historic day, the yard celebrates the successful progress of the nation under the strong leaders of the UAE. The Emirates have been a major maritime centre in the Arabian Gulf for more than 150 years, and Drydocks World aims to deliver further development and innovation for future generations
