Drydocks World - a DP World company, the leading provider of maritime and offshore services to the shipping, oil, gas and energy sectors has received the Dubai Chamber Corporate Social Responsibility Label for the fourth year in a row in recognition of the company’s efforts and contributions to excellence in various areas of social responsibility.

The Dubai Chamber Social Corporate Responsibility Label is designed to provide a diagnostic practice that enables the Chamber to scrutinize and examine the activities of companies both internally and externally. This helps companies assess their current contributions to CSR and determine how to further improve their leadership position in the area of social responsibility within industry.

Drydocks World Corporate Social Responsibility Committee is always working on identifying all the objectives of the employee's involvement in awareness and volunteering programs for various charitable activities in order to enhance volunteering opportunities in cooperation with charitable organizations such as Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities and the Emirates Red Crescent to participate in external activities. Drydocks World’s medical team has initiated two blood donation initiatives in 2017, where it managed to collect 147 blood units to donate to people throughout the country.

Drydocks World participated in "Earth Hour 2017," a global event held annually advocating turning off power for one hour. The initiative aims to raise awareness on the dangers of climate change and to spread a message of conserving electricity and reducing gas emissions. Drydocks World participated and recorded savings in electrical energy reaching 3,596 KW-Hour.
