Client:  Red Band Inc., Fred.Olsen Production A.S. for Maersk Oil
Project:  World’s largest tanker T/T Jahre Viking to FSO Knock Nevis
Project Status:  Project completed in 2004
Project Scope: 
  • Fabricating and installing heli-deck, 11P pump room, HPU room, import and export manifold, metering skid platform, IG mast, Cantilever hose handling platform, deck crane foundations, Fwd pump room and Fwd generator room.
  • The following were fitted: deck cranes, hawser handling winch, chain stopper and HPU. Pipe work involves, new Import and export line, decanted water circulation and offloading line, metering skid hook-ups, double valve separation, raising of bell-mouths in all the tanks, new stripping line, extension of fire & foam line, complete renewal of hydraulic lines.
  • Electrical work like up-grading fire and gas system, PA/GA system, navigational system, tank temperature and pressure monitoring system.
  • Fire equipment such as Sprinkler system and Novec system and CO2 system in 11P Pump room.
  • Steel refurbishment in tank interior, engine room, pump room, accommodation and tank internal coating work.
  • Steel renewal of approximately 1000 tonnes.
  • ER Boiler and Turbine refurbishment.
  • Main & auxiliary machinery refurbishment.
  • Refurbishment of part of the accommodation, HVAC system and cargo pumps.
  • Routine dry-docking.

Project:  Tanker to FSO Prem Pride
Project Duration: 2009-2010
Project Scope: 
  • Fabricating and installing new heli-deck and outfitting.
  • Fabricating and installing bow loading A-frames and piping to existing drop line.
  • Additional accommodation for 25 people by adding additional bunks.
  • Installing new fresh water generator and related pipe modification.
  • Installing CCTV cameras and chain stopper load cells.
  • Dry docking and repair.

Project:  Shuttle tanker to FSO Falcon Spirit
Project Duration: July 2009 – November 2009
Project Scope: 
  • Blasting and coating of ballast tank, cargo tanks, deck and external hull.
  • Steel repair in tanks, installation of fatigue brackets and other miscellaneous items.
  • Docking and general maintenance.
  • Upgrading and modifying cargo system, Inert Gas & vent system and firefighting system.
  • Upgrading electrical system and installing SDS and ESD systems.
  • Overhauling of propulsion system and ER machinery.
  • Upgrading HVAC system.
  • Modifying living quarters.
  • Relocating heli-deck.
  • Installing new Fire & Gas alarm system and Public Address & Communication system.

Project:  ULCC TI Asia to FSO Asia
Project Duration: October 2008 – November 2009
Project Scope: 
  • Grit blasting and painting of cargo tanks covering an area of 275,000m2.
  • Installing approximately 6,000 metres of additional cargo pipelines in tanks and on deck; 1,200 new valves in the cargo pipes; five new generators and two new boilers in engine room; metering skid, cranes and import and export manifold; 24,000 metres of new heating-coil in cargo tanks.
  • Fabricating and setting up a structure for accommodation.
  • Fabricating and installing new pipe rack structure on deck using 700 tonnes of steel.
  • Assembling and installing new Aluminum heli-deck.
  • Structure modification and installing two offloading hose reels.
  • Renewing existing hydraulic line as well as installing approximately 50,000 metres of new line.
  • Adding new electrical cable trays and power as well as control cabling.

Project Scope:

Project Status:

Project completed in 2003.
Project Scope:
  • Tank coating.
  • Installing heating coils in all cargo tanks.
  • Modifying loading and discharging manifolds.
  • Installing mooring systems.
  • The installation of heating coils were necessary due to the ship’s operating location is in Murmansk Russia, where the winter temperature dips below – 30 deg C.
