Janarthanan Kanthan, affectionately known as Jana within the industry, serves as the Senior Vice President of Commercial at Drydocks World – Dubai. Commencing his journey with the company as an Estimator in 1998, Jana, a Mechanical Engineer by profession, has evolved into an integral member of the senior management team, steering the company's business growth.

Throughout his distinguished tenure, Jana has played a pivotal role in translating major high-value contracts into successful realities. His accomplishments include overseeing EPC projects, FPSO conversions, new building projects, and a multitude of repair projects. His diverse contributions have been a driving force behind the company's success.
Key Achievements: Jana's ascent within the company has been marked by significant milestones. Notably, he received the prestigious "Business Accelerator Award" during Drydocks World’s 40th anniversary celebrations, recognising his exceptional contributions to the company's growth and success.
Expertise and Contribution: Possessing a wealth of experience in shipyards, both in India and the Middle East, including a yard managed by Keppel, Jana has demonstrated proficiency in various facets of the maritime industry. His strategic acumen extends to conducting feasibility studies on upgrade projects and acquisitions, contributing to the company's strategic direction.
